RALASTIGUM ST ANTIROOT is a multi purpose thixotropic waterproofing product, formulated with bitumen in water emulsion, selected elastomeric resins and special root inhibitor additives that make it unattackable by the penetration action of plant roots, without damaging them. It has excellent elasticity. It waterproofs and protects against atmospheric agents and UV rays.

Highly resistant against corrosive action of acids. It is odourless and no-flammable, non-toxic and solvent free.

Surface Preparation

Make sure that the surface is free from detached parts, loose debris or non-adherent parts, coatings, rust, powder, disarming oils and carefully clean the surfaces so that they are sound and dry. Before application water runoff efficiency and fastness must be carefully checked.

This product can be applied on slightly damp surfaces only in absence of stagnant water.

Application

Mix before use. It can be applied by roller, brush, spray, broom, spatula por metal squeegee.
Normally the product is applied in two layers. On large surfaces, it is recommended to apply the first layer with a water dilution up to 10%. Apply the second coat right after the first fresh coat only if this one has been reinforced, otherwise wait up to complete product drying (24/48 hours) depending on the environmental conditions and the porosity of the substrate.
On surfaces larger than 10m² or stressed substrates we recommend reinforcing Ralastigum St Antiroot with suitable polyester non-woven fabric reinforcement embedded in the first coat while still fresh.
After use, clean the tools with water. If the product has dried up, remove it with warm water or white spirit.
